Student Crossing Freeway is Hit & Causes Second Injury Accident
Featured Stories, News Thursday, February 21st, 2013The northbound lanes of the freeway were shut down Thursday afternoon between Boonville Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when a student was struck.
Officer Kelley McKethan says a 14 year old attending Sam Rayburn Middle School was conscious and speaking when he was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Bryan ISD Communications Director Sandy Farris was among district employees at the hospital.

There was a second accident involving a rear-end collision. McKethan says the occupants of the truck were not injured, while the driver and three children in the other vehicle were transported for medical treatment of non life threatening injuries.
