Lakers’ Owner Buss Dies at Age 80
Sports Monday, February 18th, 2013LOS ANGELES (AP) _ NBA commissioner David Stern says Jerry Buss was a “visionary owner” whose influence on pro basketball will be felt for decades to come. The L.A. Lakers owner died today at the age of 80 following a battle with cancer. The Lakers won 10 championships after Buss bought the team in 1979.
