CS Council Approves Lick Creek Park Nature Center Design

The next step has been taken towards a new nature center at Lick Creek Park in College Station.

Mayor Nancy Berry says the city council recently approved a design that includes a covered pavillion that is not heated or air conditioned and a small meeting room.

Berry says the educational opportunities at the park will take place on weekends and during the summer.

The $2.5 million dollar nature center won’t be built until next year.

Nancy Berry visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
