Phone & Internet to Bryan Schools Cut by Briarcrest ConstructionFeatured Stories, News Friday, February 15th, 2013

Bryan school officials were notified phone and Internet service has been restored, approximately ten hours after a fiberoptic line was cut in the Briarcrest Drive construction zone.
The Briarcrest Drive expansion project has not only inconvenienced motorists and businessowners, but now the Bryan school district. A fiberoptic line was cut Friday morning, resulting in the loss of phone and Internet service to some BISD buildings. There is phone service available for outgoing calls only at affected locations.
Bryan ISD has compiled the following list of buildings without phone and Internet BISD reports this is not affecting instruction and all schools will dismiss at normal times today.
Bryan ISD schools affected by the internet and phone outage are:
Rayburn Middle School
Bryan High School
Rudder High School
Lamar campus (Bryan Collegiate HS and DAEP)
M.C. Harris School
Other campuses may be experiencing partial outages as well.
