SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ Isaiah Thomas scored 17 of his 23 points in the
fourth quarter and John Salmons also had 23 points to help rally the Sacramento
Kings to a 117-111 victory over the Houston Rockets yesterday. The Rockets were
outscored 17-7 over a four-minute stretch when the Kings took control of the
game at home.
NEW YORK (AP) _ Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs dominated the second half
to beat the Brooklyn Nets 111-to-86 yesterday. The Spurs got back on track
quickly behind Parker, who fell short of his third straight 30-point game only
because he was so good he sat out the final minutes of the rout.
NEW YORK (AP) _ Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili (MAN’-oo jih-NOH’-blee) are still
sidelined with injuries. The two sat out yesterday’s San Antonio Spurs’ win
against Brooklyn. Duncan missed his third straight game due to a sore left knee
while Ginobili was out for a fourth game with tightness in his left hamstring.
