Student at College Station High School Dies After Collapsing

During a fifth period gym class today at College Station High School, a student passed out and was non-responsive. CPR was immediately administered and an Automated External Defibrillator was used in an attempt to revive the student until the ambulance arrived. The ambulance transported the student to the College Station Medical Center where the student later passed away.
The immediate family has been notified, however, we are not releasing the name of the student to the media or public at this time.
Beginning Wednesday morning, CSISD will have the crisis counseling team available at CSHS to help grieving students and staff through this very difficult time.
