A Bryan man has been arrested for the burglary of a vehicle and assault and robbery of an elderly woman.
Officer Kelley McKethan with the Bryan Police Department says Sunday morning, the vigilance of a concerned driver near 28th and Texas Avenue led to the capture of Jaquarios Neal, 20, of Bryan.
McKethan says the witness gave officers a detailed description, and after arresting Neal, they recovered the purse, $37, and property from an earlier car burglary.
She says the 95-year-old woman suffered a head injury and a broken hip, which required immediate surgury.
According to Justice Web, Neal is currently held on bonds that total $100,670.
