Bryan Police reported unusual circumstances to three shoplifting incidents last weekend at the Bryan Wal-Mart.

Police report having to run down a College Station woman then trying struggling to keep her restrained. 35 year old Lawanda Toliver is accused of trying to hide under a pickup in the parking lot after taking nearly 700 dollars of clothing, electronics, and beer. Officers say once she was found it took several minutes to put restraints on her in order to place her in the patrol car for transport to jail. It was learned Toliver was wanted in Bastrop County for resisting arrest and she had seven prior theft convictions in Bastrop, Giddings, and LaGrange.

Another woman was arrested after Wal-Mart employees reported she removed bar codes from toys and placed them on a more expensive blender, portable movie player and an X-Box. 30 year old Raquel Fabian of Austin was also held for theft charges from Williamson County.

And a Wal-Mart employee was arrested after leaving the store with 150 dollars of clothing and accessories. Officers say 29 year old Constance Joy Taylor of Bryan also admitted to a second theft from the same store.
