Atlanta is back in the NFC Championship game. The Falcons earned a spot in next Sunday’s game against San Francisco with an exciting 30-28 win over Seattle yesterday. Matt Bryant kicked the game winning 49-yard field goalwith eight seconds left after missing the first attempt which was dis allowed after a last minute time out was called by Seattle to ice the kicker obviously didn’t work.
A little less exciting however was the Texans game. Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes yesterday as the New England Patriots topped the Houston Texans 41-28 to advance to the AFC championship game. Brady earned his 17th career playoff victory, surpassing Joe Montana to become the winningest quarterback in postseason play. Texans quarterback Matt Schaub passed for 343 yards and a score.
