Bryan PD Told Son Stabbed Mother

A Bryan man is accused of stabbing his mother multiple times after she told him to stop playing on the computer and help around the house.
Police say 20 year old Ulrich Kocurek used two kitchen knives in the attack Friday night.
The mother was taken to the hospital for treatment of eight cuts to her jaw, shoulder, hand, chest, and neck.
The mother, who called 911, told police her son eventually gave her the knives, he walked away, then she hid the knives under the bathtub.
Detectives say Kocurek was arrested after confessing to Friday night’s aggravated assault.

He always used to complain how much his parents insisted he work around the house. I knew him freashman year of highschool and stayed friends until about three years ago. Never thought he’d go this far.
This guy is so many bricks shy of a load it’s amazing he’d been able to walk around free until he was 20. This kind of uncontrollable rage must be contained. If he would do this to his own mother for so little reason, what might he do to a stranger? I know this isn’t a death penalty offense, and with the prisons so crowded with pot smokers, he may not even get any time, but he needs to be CAREFULLY watched from this point forward. If he is allowed to roam free, we’ll see his picture in the news again.

I knew him during junior year in high school. I would really enjoy talking to him. So smart and creative. I can’t believe this happened.
