Proposed Attendance Zone Changes at Bryan and Rudder High Schools

Next Monday night, the Bryan school board is holding a public hearing to take comments about shifting high school attendance zones.

Superintendent Tommy Wallis says one of the purposes is making Bryan and Rudder High both 4-A schools for UIL purposes.

Another reason is to eliminate transfer requests.

Wallis says no changes are planned for middle and elementary school attendance areas.

If approved, the high school changes would take affect next year.

Monday’s public hearing is at the district’s administration building starting at 6 p.m.
