New Year’s Tips from the Better Business BureauFeatured Stories, News Tuesday, January 8th, 2013
The Better Business Bureau’s Bill McGuire wants to help local business owners take their businesses to the next level this year.
McGuire says according to Entrepreneur Magazine, there are several steps you can take when you plan this year’s business goals.
For one, move forward even though the business environment is uncertain.
He says business owners shouldn’t allow their companies to be paralyzed by changing regulations and health care issues.
Instead of just reacting to whatever happens, McGuire says business owners should be active, investigating new markets, promoting products, and gaining new customers.
McGuire also says that employees might be one of the richest resources.
He says having the right employees in place can make a significant impact on your sales and marketability.
An employee who can sell on factors other than price, keep customers satisfied, and bring in new business, can be a real game changer, McGuire says.
McGuire invites listeners who’d like to receive a copy of the full article to call him at the BBB office at 979-260-2222
