Police Seek Culprits of Armed Robbery At Radio Shack

Bryan police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday evening around 6:40 at Radio Shack on Villa Maria.

Officer Kelley McKethan says one employee was scratched during the robbery, and one of the customers saw a gun on one of the thieves.

McKethan says the three thieves, who all had bandanas covering their faces, left with money and merchandise.

Bryan Police Investigate Aggravated Robbery
On January 6, 2013 at approximately 6:40pm, The Bryan Police Department responded to the Radio Shack located at 614 E. Villa Maria for a Robbery that had just occurred.
There were two employees and two customers present at the time of the robbery.
The victims reported that three black males entered the store and demanded money.
One victim reported that one suspect was armed with a firearm.
The suspects left with money and some store merchandise.
One employee received minor scratches during the incident.
The three suspects were described as:
  • B/M approximately 6’3-6’5 with average build.  Wearing a black hooded jacket with red and white trim (with a logo on the back similar to a Texas Tech logo), gray cargo pants and white tennis shoes.
  • B/M approximately 6’3-6’5 with average build.  He is wearing a shiny black puffy vest with a hooded jacket underneath and possibly a white undershirt, with dark jeans that had a logo on the back right pocket, and black and white tennis shoes.  It is possible this suspect had a cast on one of his hands.
  • B/M approximately 5’10-6’ with average build.  He is wearing a black hooded jacket, dark jeans, and white tennis shoes.
All suspects had their faces covered with a bandana.
