Oregon tops K-State
Sports Friday, January 4th, 2013GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ Fifth-ranked Oregon has capped a 12-1 season by whipping No. 7 Kansas State 35-17. DeAnthony Thomas returned the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and reached the end zone twice by the end of the first quarter. Kenjon Barner had a touchdown reception and ran for 143 yards on 30 carries as the Ducks finished 12-1 while dropping K-State to 11-2.
