Decomposed Body Found Between Bryan and Tabor

Law enforcement from several agencies has been up since Wednesday night in a pasture between Bryan and Tabor.

Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk says that’s after a rancher discovered a badly decomposed body in a pasture about 100 yards from Farm Road 974 near Wagon Wheel Drive.

Kirk says the body has been exposed to the elements for several days but it will take an autopsy to determine a more definitive time of death.

Kirk says foul play has not been ruled out, however there is no immedimate threat to the public.

Kirk says their investigators are being assisted by the Texas Rangers and College Station Police Department.

An autopsy was ordered by Justice of the Peace Tommy Munoz. The autopsy will be conducted by Travis County Medical Examiner.
