Car Burglars Nabbed in Bryan

Thanks to the diligence of a Bryan citizen, two car burglars were caught around 11:30 Wednesday night.

Bryan police say a citizen called to report a burglary in progress at 3300 South College and gave a complete description of the two men.

Upon arrival, officers found and arrested Dedrick Scott, 18, and a juvenile, both of Bryan.

Police say the witness did an outstanding job, and they’re very thankful for citizens who serve as their eyes and ears in the community.

Police say that any time a citizen calls in to report suspicious behavior or crimes in progress, especially when so much information is given, it’s extremely valuable, because it makes the police work easier and helps to keep others in the community safe.
