A&M Student Killed in Grimes County Crash

A Texas A&M University student from Montgomery was killed in a crash early Wednesday morning.

DPS Trooper Jimmy Morgan says a two-ton pickup driven by 19 year old Chandler Small left Highway 30 in Grimes County and flipped three times.

Morgan says Small’s cell phone was found, and based on the time frame and what was left on the phone it appeared to the investigator she may have been texting at the time of the wreck.

Morgan says Small, who was wearing a seat belt, was returning to College Station from Huntsville.
