Manziel Named AP’s Player of the Year

UNDATED (AP) _ Texas A&M’s freshman quarterback is adding another major award to his collection. Johnny Manziel has been voted The Associated
Press Player of the Year in college football. He’s the first freshman to ever win the award. He also won this year’s Heisman Trophy and the Davey O’Brien Award.

    Just another huge building block for A&M. These corner stones are going to make a great foundation for A&M to build upon. I hope the brass recognizes the key components in this great year and we do not have another episode like the embarrassing handling of Mike Sherman
