The sanctuary started a pit bull rescue operation last year after finding two pit bulls in Wellborn that were used as bait, set on fire, and left to die. Plemons says they have one of the dogs, Esperanza, while at the TAMU clinic saved the other.
WTAW’s Bill Oliver visits with April Plemons.
