A&M System Moves Ahead With Land Purchase in BioCorridor
Featured Stories, News Wednesday, December 12th, 2012The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents are moving ahead with the purchase of land in College Station.
The 12.4 acre parcel is in the biocorridor, owned by the Bryan Traditions limited partnership.
System spokesman Steve Moore says it’s the space where a vaccine production facility would be built related to last summer’s federal grant from BARDA, the acronym that stands for Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.
The regents only authorized staff to pursue the land purchase, so no price was announced.
