Temporary Speed Reductions Coming to Rudder FreewayFeatured Stories, News Friday, November 23rd, 2012
Last summer, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced $11 million dollars of freeway exit changes from Harvey Mitchell Parkway in College Station to WIlliam Joel Bryan Parkway in Bryan.
Tx-DOT has asked both city councils to temporarily reduce speed limits to 60 miles per hour.
It’s been approved in College Station, but not before Karl Mooney asked when and where warning signs should be placed.
Jess Fields wanted assurances that there would be a minimal impact on commuters.
The Bryan City Council considers the speed limit change during its next meeting on Tuesday.
