Stolen Guns Recovered and Arrest Made

Thanks to witnesses, College Station Police made an arrest in an apartment burglary where a rifle and a shotgun were stolen. Officer Phil Dorsett says the firearms were near the front door.
Dorsett says the victim got out his razor knife to slice a tire then punched out a window of the getaway car.
Two bystanders who wrote down license plate information helped police find the car, the guns, and the suspect.
19 year old Jeremiah Altamiranda of Houston was arrested and taken to the Brazos County Jail, where he remained Friday afternoon.
