New St. Joseph Health System President Provides Healthcare Update

The new President of St. Joseph Health System this week updated members of the Bryan Rotary Club about the landscape of health care on the national and state level.

The resume of Odette Bolano, who came to St. Joseph in July, includes leading other non-profit as well as for-profit healthcare companies.

That includes new regulations that started October 1 where providers are paid based on their performance. She calls it behavioral economics, or rewarding those who are healthy.
