A Caldwell man is in the Brazos County jail on a variety of charges.

Officer Rhonda Seaton of the College Station Police Department says 24 year old Steven Tabor admitted to more than 30 burglaries of self-storage units.

During Easter weekend, a College Station self-storage business reported more than a dozen units were burglarized.

Seaton says the arrest was made thanks to information from their colleagues in Bryan.

Seaton says Tabor is charged with burglary of one unit where a backpack blower was taken then sold to a third party.

Tabor is also accused of cutting the phone line at one Bryan business and burglary of a second last May.

He is also in jail on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender stemming from a 2003 conviction.
