“Interim” Dropped From Bryan City Manager’s Title

Entering his third year in the city of Bryan’s city manager’s office, Kean Register no longer has the word “interim” in his title.

The city council at its last meeting gave Register the position on a permanent basis.

Mayor Jason Bienski noted Register being injured in a motocross crash last April.

Jason Bienski visits with WTAW’s Scott DeLucia.

Register will be paid $230,000 thousand dollars, a pay raise of $65,000 when he left his position at the city’s electric utility in September 2010.
