CS Council Will Wait on A&M Before Discussing Funding Kyle Field Expansion

There was a call at Thursday’s College Station City Council meeting to discuss a possible contribution to paying for the expansion of Kyle Field.

Councilman Jess Fields withdrew his request after Mayor Nancy Berry said that would happen if and when a request is made by Texas A&M University or the A&M system.

Fields noted he wasn’t invited to a gathering earlier in the week where it was disclosed there would be an additional $38 million dollar cost to expand in phases, in order to keep A&M home football games at Kyle Field.

Comments from Jess Fields and Nancy Berry.
