Shoplifting arrests are not uncommon.
But in College Station Sunday night, the loss prevention officer at T-J Maxx drove behind the suspects until police caught up to them along the Earl Rudder Freeway.
Officer Rhonda Seaton says she doesn’t recall having store employees following suspects in the past, leading police to the car.
Seaton says 21 year old Edwin Johnson Jr. and 31 year old Tameika Tobor of Houston were jailed for stealing $2,300 dollars of purses.
The driver, 30 year old Larry Mock of Houston, was arrested for having a suspended license.
Rhonda Seaton visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
