Fatal Accident in East Bryan

A Bryan man is dead and two Bryan women are injured following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night at FM 1179 and Stella Circle.

Bryan Police report  45-year-old Steven Wayne Prince was headed westbound when his 2002 two-door Chevrolet left the roadway, overcorrected, and struck the eastbound 2006 Honda of 19-year-old Lindsey Brianne Ricks in a t-bone.

Conditions were dry and clear at the time.

Prince was pronounced dead at the scene. Ricks was transported to St. Joseph with a foot injury, and Ricks’ passenger, 19-year-old Jessica Nicole Kalinec, who also was taken to St. Joseph’s with elbow and wrist injury, has been released.

All were wearing seat-belts.

      Thank you for your support. Steve is my cousin. I was with his mom & siblings last night. It is truely a tragidy. We already miss him & can’t make since of things yet, but we know he is in a better place. Please remember to pray for the young girls as well. They will always have this memory & that’s not a memory any teenager should have.
