There are new leaders of the Salvation Army in Bryan/College Station.

Lieutenants Jeremy and Michelle Walker have been in town since June, after graduating from the Salvation Army college in Atlanta.

Before their calling, Jeremy was running a 3,200 acre ranch south of Dallas and Michelle was at a large hospital in Ft. Worth working as a registered nurse in labor and delivery.

Michelle’s parents are Majors with the Salvation Army in Abilene and will retire next year after 46 years.  Jeremy had been involved in that ministry for 20 years before starting full-time.
