A&M Fall Enrollment Sets Another Record

For the second consecutive year, fall enrollment at Texas A&M University has exceeded 50,000.

President Bowen Loftin announced in his latest online weekly update the preliminary fall number is 50,769. A year ago, the number was 50,054.

Dr. Loftin says this fall’s Corps of Cadets is the largest in 30 years, with 2,303 on the first day of the semester. Last year, the number was 2,153.

Enrollment at A&M’s campus in Galveston is 2,025 and 519 at the Qatar campus.

Loftin is the featured speaker at the Chamber of Commerce Economic Outlook luncheon on Tuesday.
