CS Rotary Hosting Aggie-Style Tailgate Friday

Tailgating at Texas A&M home football games is among the best in the nation.

The College Station Rotary Club hopes to create that atmosphere when they host a community tailgate the night before the Florida game.

Club member Frank Dickey says the come and go party starts Friday at 5 p.m. under the pavillion at Veterans Park.

There is no charge to enjoy food and soft drinks. Dickey says donations will be collected as a fundraiser for the club.

Dickey says invitations were also e-mailed to more than 40 Rotary Clubs in and around Gainesville, Florida.

Members of the College Station, Bryan, and Aggieland Rotary Clubs will also be giving guided tours of the Veterans Wall.
