Fire Safety Reminders For Outdoor Cooking

Another Labor Day weekend means another reminder to all the newcomers to Aggieland about outdoor fires.

William Bouse of Bryan Fire Department says that includes city ordinances on outdoor grilling in apartment complexes.

In both Bryan and College Station, any type of grills have to be at least ten feet away from the structure.

Bouse reminds homeowners to keep grills at least the same distance away from structures and to have a water hose turned on in case of a problem.
