Husband Accidentally Shot By His Wife To Be Released From The Hospital
News Monday, August 27th, 2012A suburban College Station man was scheduled to be released from the hospital Monday, the day after being shot by his wife.
Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk says the woman told authorities she was trying to kill a skunk.
Kirk says the woman, who has a concealed carry license for the 45 caliber handgun, fired a shot that ricocheted through the rear door of the residence and struck her husband, who was on the other side of the door.
The husband and seven children were inside the home at the time of what investigators believe to be an accidental shooting on Sunday night in the Nantucket subdivision.
