A threat made to College Station school administrators following this month’s Board of Trustees meeting led to the arrest of a parent and a renewal of discussing future security issues.
CSISD spokesman Chuck Glenewinkel says the threat was not made during a grievance hearing where the parent met in executive session with the superintendent and all seven board members.
The incident was in the parking lot after the meeting adjourned, and was directed at superintendent Eddie Coulson and four elementary school administrators.
24 year old Taneshia Ragston is accused of saying she was…quoting…”going to blow your head off like the constable.”
Ragston, who was arrested for five misdemeanor counts of making a terroristic threat against a public servant, is out of jail after posting bond.
WTAW’s Bill Oliver visits with Chuck Glenewinkel.
