CS Capital Murder Trial Set for January 7

Stanley Robertson

Jury selection for a College Station an charged with capital murder has been moved back to January 7.

Stanley Robertson, 44, is charged in connection with the August 2010 kidnapping and murder of his ex-girlfriend’s mother.

Annie Toliver was kidnapped from the College Station Wal-Mart. She was found stabbed to death in Fort Worth.

Robertson’s trial was scheduled to start in mid-September until his attorney asked for a delay because the attorney was scheduled to have surgery.

It’s the third overall delay in Robertson’s trial, which was originally scheduled to start last April. The latest date for jury selection was set in a hearing Monday.
