Possible $2 Million Price Tag To Repair CS Conference Center
Featured Stories, News Friday, August 10th, 2012It could cost $1.8 million dollars to repair the College Station Conference Center.
The city council received a staff update of the now closed building, originally opened in 1949 as a school.
No action was taken by the council.
The proposed 2013 city budget includes no money for repair or replacement and no revenue to be generated from building rentals. The budget does include funds to pay for utilities.
Before the staff report, the council heard from local residents who wanted the center repaired or replaced at that location.
