Brazos County Government Has New Website
Featured Stories, News Friday, August 10th, 2012For the first time in eight years, there’s a major overhaul of the Brazos County government website.
Information Technology Director Eric Caldwell says it was an opportunity to make it a better experience for county employees and the public.
Ian Soares, who led the project, says representatives of all 38 county agencies were contacted over the last seven months.
The updated website also includes a new domain name and e-mail extension for county employees, brazoscountytx (dot) gov.
In addition to the new website, the IT department is eight months into a two year makeover of the county’s criminal justice management system.
