New License Plates Have Arrived

Getting a new vehicle means getting license plate with a new design.

Brazos County Tax Assessor-Collector Kristy Roe says the new black and white tags will resolve several problems with the old multi-colored plates.

Roe says you can replace your existing car tags with the new design for $7.00. The new plates for light trucks won’t be available until later this year.
