Sumlin at ESPN “Car Wash”

Turns out that the SEC Media Days was just a warm-up for the whirlwind day that ESPN has in store for A&M coach Kevin Sumlin and his 13-fellow SEC coaches today and tomorrow at the network’s headquarters in Bristol, Conn.

It’s called the ESPN Car-Wash and it starts for Sumlin at 10 am this morning with the College Football Podcast, then the Scott Van Pelt Show, ESPN.com chat, then on ESPNU, the taping for Sportscenter, then Twitter Chat followed by Playbook, then College Football Live at 1 pm, then two more stops before finishing on the Doug Gottlieb Show Radio Show at 2:30.

Sumlin, along with Auburn’s Gene Chizik, Tennessee’s Derek Dooley, Vanderbilt’s James Franklin, Missouri’s Gary Pinkel, Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen and LSU’s Les Miles make the rounds today and the other seven coaches do it tomorrow.

I’m sure this is the last place Sumlin wants to be at this point. Let’s get our coach back on the field!
