Navasota goes 3-0 at 7-on-7

The Navasota Rattlers, Cameron Yoemen and Rockdale Tigers all advanced to the Championship bracket after pool play at the 7 on 7 Championships yesterday at A&M’s Penberthy Fields.

 Navasota in fact had a perfect record, winning all three games handily over La Villa, Commanche and Boyd. They will open up the 32-team single elimination championship bracket play at 9 this morning against Abilene Wylie. The Consolation Championship game at 3 and the  Championship at 4 will be at Kyle Field today.

 Rockdale advanced after losing to Liberty by beating Ballinger an FW All Saints and will meet Port Isabel at 9.

 Cameron fell to Princeton but came back to beat Somerset . They then lost to Stephenville but broke out of a three-way tied for 2nd I the pool to advance to the championship bracket where they’ll meet West Orange County at 9 am today.

 Lexington went 2-1 in their pool play but tied for 2nd and lost the tiebreaker and is in the consolation bracket.

 Today at 2 pm, A&M Consolidated will start the Division I portion of the Championship, starting Pool play against Sugarland Dulles, then meet Arlington Lamar, then Wichita Falls Rider.
