Sadly, Bisbee has passed on. His body was found under BSBE. He was a great Aggie cat. Many Aggies will miss him! RIP Bisbee!
RIP Bisbee.
i will answer “here” for you at muster. Gig ‘EM
How much work do you think it would be to have him buried with the Reveilles?
Seriously? fail comment.
That’s a great idea.
I think, given how much he disliked dogs, it might be more appropriate to bury him near his hang-out at Biology.
What was the cause of death? He was only six years old…?
He is more than 6 years old. I think 8 probably. When we came to A&M in 2006, he was already there and at that time he was estimated as 2 years old.
He wasn’t anywhere near as big of a symbol as Reveille and placing Bisbee next to or in the same place as past Reveilles would only cheapen another of our great traditions. A small memorial at the BSBE building would be a nice touch, but that would be as far as I would take it.
I was more attached to Brisbee than I ever will be with the Reveille’s since I interacted with him damn near daily, but I definitely agree there should be some memorial for him somewhere near BSBE.
I don’t think Bisbee should be with the Reveilles either, but how would burying him with them cheapen anything? I
He used to sit with me every day after work. I’m going to miss him.
If anybody knows the cause of death, I’d like to know. Thanks!
i petted Bisbee after everyone of my calculus 1 and calculus 2 exams in Hel….he made Hel bearable….RIP
He definitely needs a memorial, really sad to hear this
So sorry to hear of Bisbee’s passing. The Texas Aggie magazine said his age was estimated between 10-13 years and it appeared he died peacefully. My lovely wife Susan and I have a cat that looks very much like him. I’m happy to hear that he was loved, and that he brought Aggies comfort. Scott Williams, ’87
