Three promotions have been announced at the Bryan Fire Department.

Among them is Randy McGregor becoming chief.  McGregor, who joined the department in 1983, had been interim chief after Mike Donoho retired last January.

McGregor says Cory Matthews was promoted to assistant chief for emergency medical services and Joe Ondrasek was named a batallion chief.

McGregor says there four more vacancies to fill, including a second assistant chief, a second batallion chief, a lieutenant, and an apparatus operator.
