A&M Unveils New Football Uniforms

With the feel of a fashion show runway, Texas A&M University unveiled the football team’s new uniforms Thursday afternoon.

Equipment Manager Matt Watson says the design is an update on traditional themes.

Watson also says the new look includes a different finish on the helmet.

    The new uniform looks sleek and definitely updated, though I was fine with the “old” one. The real test, however, of how the team “looks” will be in the win/loss columns. Regardless, we’ll be rooting for our Ags!

    I like the throw-back look of the Emory Bellard era with the double stripes on the jerseys. It is a very nice look overall, and it maintains a traditional look, not the crazy schemes like Oregon, Georgia, Baylor and Maryland had last year.
