Blinn College Officials Continue Facilities Study

Blinn College trustees and administrators recently received input on future building needs on all their campuses.

Spokesman Brandon Webb says in Brazos County, local businessowners have been asked to complete a survey that will help Blinn develop a new home for its workforce development center.

Webb says officials are also looking at two things on the Bryan campus. One is a new building for academics and administration. Webb says the proposed 32,000 square foot structure is estimated to cost $8 million dollars.

The second project is adding parking, either paving ground or building a garage, on land bordered by a detention pond.
