Aggie Golfers have strong tournaments

 Two Aggie golfers advanced well at the Women’s Western Golf Assn Amateur Championship in Monroe Michigan before bowing out. Both MaryMichael Maggio and Susy Grunden qualified for the match-play portion of the tournament. Grunden won her first two matches but was eliminated in the Round of 16 by Moriya Jutanugam. Maggio won her first three matches but fell in the quarterfinals, also to Jutanugam, who went on to lose in the championship match to her sister Arija.
