CWS Starts Friday in Omaha

College baseball fans will get their fix in again starting today as the College World Series starts at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. The format is two separate divisions playing double elimination tournaments with the two winners playing a best two-out-of three. It could run to June 26th.

Today in Division I, the Cinderella Stoney Brook Seawolves will meet UCLA at 3 pm and Arizona will meet Florida State at 7. The Wildcats and Seminoles have 35 College World Series appearances between them.

Tomorrow, the other newcomer Kent State will meet Arkansas and two-time defending champion South Carolina will meet top seed Florida. The Gators and Gamecocks are both in Omaha for a third straight year.

All games will be on ESPN2.
