Arrest in Stolen CSISD Cell Phone Used to Send Obscene Texts

A College Station man is in jail after his arrest for stealing a cell phone from an elementary school then sending obscene text messages.
41 year old Troy Tarver is accused of taking the phone in February preparing for a school fair, changing the SIM card, then sending the same message and image to several people, including a 16 year old girl.
Officer Phil Dorsett of the College Station Police Department reminds those who lose or have their cell phones stolen to contact law enforcement along with their service provider.
