Arrest in Gunfire Report Near CS Baseball Fields

On June 7th, youth baseball teams in College Station had their practices interrupted by gunfire.
On Friday, police announced a Bryan man was arrested for the incident at Southgate Village apartments on Holleman near Wellborn Road.
24 year old Derrion Baker is behind held on bond of $600,000 dollars.
College Station Police Officer Rhonda Seaton says a disturbance at the complex preceded the gunfire.
The gunfire was behind the baseball practices at the Wayne Smith complex.
Officers from the College Station and Bryan Police Departments participated in the arrest.
