Body Found In Trinity River Near Midway

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Memorial Day morning floating in the Trinity River.

Sgt. Ryan Poe says a passing boater found the body of 51 year old Clint Pyle of Crockett about 100 yards from the man’s boat.

Pyle had been camping with family members, who told investigators he had left to check on trout lines he had set the day before.

His body was in the Trinity near Bedias Creek south of Midway.

Poe says an autopsy will be done but there is no indication of foul play.
