Court Action Against SpringBrook HOA Is Dismissed
Featured Stories, News Tuesday, May 1st, 2012Property owners in a College Station homeowners association opposed to donating land to a hike and bike trail no longer have a small claims lawsuit.
Court records indicate the case involving the SpringBrook HOA was dismissed before going to trial.
At the last College Station City Council meeting, more than 30 minutes was taken by public comments from residents. Most asked the council to reject the land donation offer.
There were 10 speakers opposed to building the proposed Lick Creek trail path along the backyards of SpringBrook homes.
No date has been set when the council will decide whether to accept the land donation.
